heh... so many movies. erm... to start off with, i guess, would be anything written by Mel Brooks... the man's a genius. other than those, i guess i should start naming titles: Star Wars (the original trilogy), Pirates of the Carrabbean (Orlando Bloom + Johnny Depp = BEAUTIFUL!), Nightmare Before Christmas (Tim Burton is a genius), Finding Neverland, Blade, SAW, Lord of the Rings trilogy, Harry Potter (although the books were MUCH better), anything that has to do with Dracula, The Lost Boys, Sleepy Hallow, Donnie Darko, Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle, Troy, Underworld, Casablanca (it's a classic... what else can i say?), Animal House, X-Men, Gladiator, Bio-Dome, Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure (Bogus Journey wasn't as good), Office Space, Empire Records, Air Heads, Coming to America, etc. my favourite genres are comedy, action, and horror (especially the original horror movies of Lon Cheney and Boris Karloff and anything with vampires or werewolves).
i'll get straight to the point... i don't watch too much tv and i dispise basically all "reality" shows. favouties: The Simpsons, South Park, Law and Order, Project Runway, Sliders, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, Invader Zim, Fraggle Rock, Family Guy, Futurama, and football games (does that count?). oh, and i frequently watch things on Discovery and the History Channel such as: anything about WWII, conspiracies, history's mysteries, the escape from Alcatraz, Ancient civilizations (especially Egypt and Greece), and anything that has to do with literature or the arts.
i've read so many, so here's a shortened list: The Iliad, The Odyssey, Anne Bishop's Black Jewels trilogy, The Invisible Ring, Anne Bishop's Tir Alainn trilogy, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter (Prisioner of Azkaban was the best), The Da Vinci Code, Dracula, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, anything Shakespeare, anything Anne Rice, How to be Happy Dammit!: A Cynic's Guide to Spiritual Happiness, Agamemnon, The Bluest Eye, Siddhartha, anything by Poe, poetry (esp. WH Auden, Eliot, Pound, Thomas, Ginsberg...), etc.
my uncle: he is the reason i am the way i am. he was the single most influential person in my life and during his battle with cancer, he showed me what strength was. i learned so much from him and i miss him more everyday.
