WELCOME TO ONE OF THE OTHER HOMES OF SMK (SMACK) FILMS
Smacks Films is the brain child of three creative minds united by the common goal to create visual experiences of all shapes and forms but within the realm of creativity and more importantly FILM-MAKING.
What is Smack?
Smack is absolutely anthing you want it to be! The essence of Smack lies in the fact nothing ever needs to make sense to be be enjoyable. Smack is in the eye of the beholder, and the team at Smack Films is dedicated to creating Smack at it's best!
Smack Films currently consists of:
Andrew Shanks: Director, Producer, Editor, Cinematography, Writer
Marko Matosevic: Lead Actor, Writer, Producer
Steve Komadina: Primary Writer, Supporting Actor, Producer

The name SMK FILMS is not only a shortend version of SMACK FILMS but also is the combination of the first letter of the last names of the three minds behind the production team. Originally we only went by SMACK FILMS but because this particular name was already taken on myspace as well as youtube we decided to change it SMK FILMS. And it turned out that it worked pretty well so boo yaa!
We want to expand the SMacK family so feel free to hit us up!
Currently the videos we will be uploading onto our myspace as well as Youtube are internet based comedy skits revolving around random situations and reoccurring characters. However at the same time we are always working on higher quality short films for film festivals as well as feature film projects. We are also working on putting together a sketch comedy show to be broadcast on Australian TV and/or Internet.
We will upload at least one new short film every WEDNESDAY! So be sure to check our page every week for new videos.
If you've got an idea for a funny sketch send it through and we could make it happen and give you credit!
