everybody smash up your seats and rock to this brand new beat!

About Me

I like ice hockey; go Devils. I like loud music, especially when it's live, and extra especially if I know the words. I seldom remember the words, but I play piano, bass, and guitar. I fucking love owls. I am an art student, with degrees in psychology and audio/radio - two of those will dovetail into a future in art therapy. I have had a variety of very strange jobs, including washing dishes and making salads for folk singers, and bioengineering knockout mouse models (construct work with gel electrophoresis), but now I mostly try to go to class. I don't like "Family Guy", and people think that's weird. I hate celery, jam bands, cotton balls, Billy Joel, raccoons, Boston (the city), and Pink Floyd. I want to travel more. I play the roller derby ; my name is Carnage Electra. I probably have a few screws loose.

My Interests

Ask me. My AIM is Carnage Electra.

I'd like to meet:

creative sorts interested in making things with other things or maybe making noise with musical instruments.

Music:

Punk. And then all flavors of thrash, stoner, metal, ska, soca, reggae, bossa nova, rockabilly, surf, garage, country (real deal Americana bluegrass; not "pop" country), calypso, and lounge; but not necessarily in that order.

Movies:

I love noir and horror, especially old b-movies - science fiction and monster movies. Zombies are cool and all, but Frankenstein's is my all-time favorite movie monster. My all-time favorite femme fatale is probably Kitty (Joan Bennett) in "Scarlet Street".

Books:

This is like the band listing thing. Instead of creating some kind of searchable thing here, ask me or suggest stuff. I love Russian novelists and hate John Steinbeck.

My Blog

35mm

I posted some photos I finally developed. I had no access to a darkroom for a long while, so it took close to a year to get them done. It was worth the wait though; because I am really happy with how ...
