Exiled Faces

Exiled Faces is a Thrash/Death metal band from Greece. They have already release there first Demo by there selves with 2 good production songs and a live recording from the studio. They have many influences from simple heavy metal bands to the strongest death metal band. They are most like thrash (later), hardcore and Swedish death metal. There sound is a mix of all of them. Simply and clean thrash/death riffs, melodic guitar solos, thrashed vocals, hardcore breakdowns and thrash/hardcore drum rhythms.

At the late 2006 Exiled Faces was formed under the name “Slip in bag”. After some months, with a friend’s help, they found there current name and they decided about there future as a band. The formed members are Johnny, Nick and Takis. The first band’s idea was thought about Takis and Nick. They decided to play together some covers. Johnny was lined in the band after a month and he has the idea for a most serious band with it’s own future. After this (because they has no vocalist) they was searching about a “scream singer” and a second rhythm guitarist. Some members (singers, guitarists) were pasted from the band, no one was accomplish to be in the band. Actually Johnny takes the place of the singer after about 2 months. 2nd guitarist wasn’t expedient and they were stopped to seek about one.

After all of these they started to write there own songs trying to make a different kind of metal. That was a difficult goal but they have done it well until now. This is a conclusion of there many best bands and there many influences on this kind of music. They love to try different things on there sound and that’s why there songs have many differences from one to one. The lyrics talked about the real life and what could be happened with some wrong paths that someone will follow.

At May 2007 they decided to make a demo with there 2 songs to promote there work better. They was searching about someone who could done very good work and who can make there job better and cleaner about the sound but not lose the “Exiled Faces” type. With some friend’s help, they find Bob Katsionis (Firewind) to make the production. So at June 2007 the demo was completed and Exiled Faces started to promote there work.

October 2007 they took part on the Greek “Battle of the bands” but they weren’t accomplished to pass on the second round.

Eventually at January 2008 they found there 4th quarter Dimitris. He is their second guitarist. Dimitris is the most appropriate guitarist for this position and he is a really good friend. He has already took part to their new song called "Dancing through the crime" that is completely recorded at Bob Katsionis studio at February 2008.
