MyGen Profile GeneratorUnderdogs are five ambitious best friends based in Preston, Lancashire who formed a band through the love of bands such as The Smiths, The Stone Roses, Oasis and The Sex Pistols.Their live energy has won over fans up and down country through a self promoted UK tour that included performances at BT'S Great Unheard showcase and Radio Oneâ€™s Big Weekend Fringe. They have also supported a number of high profile acts such as Milburn and Rick Buckler & Bruce Foxton From The Jam.Throughout late 2007, Underdogs locked themselves away in an old Preston mill and began putting together a set of songs which are exciting, uplifting and written to be played live. Their aim throughout was to write songs that people could love as much, as they love their favourites.Underdogs then relocated to Moolah Rouge Studios, Stockport in January 2008 to work on three songs which would make up their new EP. The demo comprising of two new songs and an established live favourite brought together something to be proud of.In February 2008, Underdogs are also scheduled to record a new demo at 2 Fly Studios, Sheffield, with producer Alan Smyth (Arctic Monkeys, Pulp) following a support slot on 23rd January with The Futureheads.UNDERDOGS @ 53 DEGREES, PRESTON (21/11/07)-One Way Train (Acoustic)
