About their Music:
Spectrum are a Progressive-Hard Rock/Metal group.
Influences: 70's CLASSIC ROCK, 80'S HARD ROCK, PROGRESSIVE-TECHNICAL ROCK, JAZZ-FUSION, GREEK FOLK MUSIC
They have worked on numerous covers from 70's, 80's, 90's Hard Rock Groups, which they have fitted to their own sound. At this time Spectrum can perform a live set that covers 4 whole hours. They have also composed and arranged 12 songs, and their work is still growing.
About the Production:
Spectrum have built a studio on their own expenses. Our whole Demo CD (which doesn't contain any covers) was recorded, mixed and mastered in this studio. Denis Kalogerias (Guitars) dealed with all the production matters (tracking, mixing, mastering) since he has got formal education on this subject. The artwork, as well as the myspace profile, was designed by Theodore Tsoulos (Drums).
About their Live Performance (History & Highlights):
Spectrum have performed live numerous times in famous Rock Bars, Live Stages and Music Festivals in Patras and Athens. For 2 years they performed live twice a week, working as professional mucicians in a well known Rock Bar in Patras. Every time they performed, the place was full. Gradually a great audience was created.
Highlights: -On September the 8th 2006, they performed as Headliners at a great festival in The Castle Of Patras, where many famous Greek Artists performed too.
-On March the 6th 2008, they performed at the same stage with the legendary classic Rock group "SOCRATES" on a live concert which was managed by Spectrum (!!), at "The Conference and Cultural Centre of the University of Patras". The concert was recorded on DVD Video which is available on a Press Kit, as additional stuff.
