Eli McGuire and His Small Band of Texans, began, oddly enough, in Memphis, TN. Call it fate, call it luck, call it what you want, a chance meeting between upright bassist Angelo Lopez, and singer/songwriter Eli McGuire on world famous (or infamous) Beale St. led to a long running off and on collaboration that took the two country "traditionalists" on a South circling 2 yr whirlwind, landing them unltimately in Angelo's home, The Lone Star State. Supported by some of east TX's brightest talent, including Delano Cruz and his blues driven stratocaster, Eli McGuire and His Small Band of Texans are preparing to release their first studio album.
