About Me

Champion Vinyl is a special place inside all of us. It's a dream, a hope, a tender prayer sent toward Valhalla in the spirit of those who died to make our lives far superior to those in the developing world. It's also the name that San Diego songwriter Jon Titterington attaches to his songs, a number slowly approaching double digits. Jon likes to contribute to the local indie rock scene, and does so by losing poker hands to older, better songwriters. One day he hopes to crack a smuggling ring. Any kind really.

Oh yeah, the songs on this page are from an EP that's in post production, with a tentative release date of summer 2010. If you like what you hear, then be sure to check out Macy Gray, Ryan Calhoun, and Wesley Willis. Buy war bonds.
