About Me

I started this mad musical quest in the early ninties DJing in local clubs and bars. And before long I was being booked by such clubs as The Cross, Leisure lounge, and Escape. In 98 I spent the summer in Ibiza. While I was there I met many producers and decided that was what I wanted to do. I spent the next few years learning Logic, Protools, and Reason software. In 2001 I had 2 releases with Lee Jones under the name 'Country Gents'. The first was released on Transfusion entitled 'Faithfully Stoned'. The second,'Time Passes' was on Pear Music, and made tune of the month in mixmag Jan 2002. In 2003 I teamed up with fellow producer Damon Goss and became vocalist / co-producer for a new project we called 'Retrostate'. We had Four releases through Fat Fox Records in 2004. The next two years were spent writing and producing in the band "Lazlo". And finally in 2006 I joined forces with Dave Begley and Jason Miles together we have formed the Eyereel Allstars. Recent releases include "Slowdown" on Duffnote Records which includes mixes by Richard Earnshaw, and "Get it on" on Redstick Recordings (Strictly Rhythm) which includes mixes by Soul Seekers, Harlem Hustlers, and Fish'n'Chips. The tracks on my player are from my new solo project.
