Damon Lee Goss started producing in 1993, with his first successful outing as part of The Toxic Twins. He then ventured into the world of drum and bass where he recorded as Urban Element on Logic Records. As one half of Purple Haze, he had success with "Genetic" which featured on 'Nick Warren in Budapest'. And further credits as engineer to Steelyard Stars, "Origin (Wide eyed angel)" ,& partner to Chad Jackson (Hear the drummer get wicked) in Nova Project with "go low" & "Wake up". As part of Dextrous he took on the world with his unique remixes of Da Hool's "Meet her at the love parade" and Brainbug's "nightmare". In recent years he has followed up with a number of releases including the massive electro track "Tonight" under the alias Retrostate, as well as Rubik's "Take me home" . Both released on Fat Fox Records. And is currently producing and remixing under the alias Fredric Balsaro.
