Joyously Helping To Bring Forth The New Dark Age.....

About Me

I made this layout with help from pYzam , Look at these other Layouts!
No one can summarize themselves in such a small space. But this is "My Space," so let's go ahead and try. I'm right now trying to make a life for myself, one that hopefully will be comfortable and satisfying. This is not an easy task, but if you aren't trying to find peace in your world, what are you doing? I'm not a person to let my job or any other label define who I am. I'm really just more concerned with my place in life and how I can relate to the important people in my world. While I am not a terribly social person, I don't have a problem with meeting with new people and putting myself in new situations. I'm not really afraid of much, and have no real concern, in the end, what someone who is insignificant to me will think. History may not always show me as a person who has been viewed in the proper light, but I think anyone who spends the time to get used to me will be pretty happy with what they find. (And just a personal request: If you want me to add you to my "Friend List" and I don't already know you, please send me a message first. Otherwise, you probably won't be accepted, since you most likely didn't actually take the time to read my profile. The same goes for bands; If you aren't on my list, chances are I haven't heard of you or didn't like your stuff. If I have, you will already have a request from me.)..

My Interests

Psychology, Sociology, Esoteric Spirituality, Experimental Art, Coffee, Spending time with friends, Martial Arts, Movies, Music, Cryptozoology....you know, the sort of things that people who seem intellectual are interested in.

I'd like to meet:

At this point, I'm not rightly sure it matters anymore. I've spent so long working on who I actually am that it almost doesn't matter who I meet. More than anything, I'm looking to meet people who might actually add something to my life as opposed to making me feel like I have just wasted my time.

Music:

Including but not limited to: Skinny Puppy, NON and other Boyd Rice Projects, the eels, Tool/A Perfect Circle, POE, Cursive, Tricky, Bright Eyes, Snake River Conspiracy, Q & Not U, Black Eyes, The Faint, Saul Williams, Placebo, Portishead, Baxter, Team Sleep, Type O Negative, Denali, Frank Sinatra/The Rat Pack, The DefTones, David Bowie, Radiohead, Nine Inch Nails, Dr. Dre, Henry Rollins/Black Flag, Massive Attack, Murder Happens/Vela Uniform, Aphex Twin, Mindless Self Indulgence, The Cure, Sonic Youth, Rob Dougan...you get the idea. I'm all over the damn place. div style="text-align: center; margin-left: auto; visibility:visible; margin-right: auto; width:450;"

Movies:

The Crow, American Beaty, Quills, Secretary, Stigmata, Equilibrium, The Last Samurai, Nosferatu, Bram Stoker's Dracula, A Life Less Ordinary, High Fidelity, Lost Highway, Se7en, The Ring, Brazil, Hellraiser, ....28 Days Later, Cradle Of Fear (so terrible it was enjoyable,) Doppelhertz, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Versus, Battle Royale, Apocalypse Now, The Godfather, Unleashed, Leon: The Professional, Kill Bill Vol. 1 and 2, Lone Wolf And Cub, Grosse Point Blank, Pulp Fiction, Clerks, Chasing Amy, Resevoir Dogs, Ghost Dog: The Way of The Samurai, Suicide Circle (aka Suicide Club,) Kung Fu Hustle, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Requiem For A Dream, House Of Flying Daggers, Excalibur, American Psycho, SLC Punk, Trainspotting...you (once again) get the idea.

Television:

No TV. No Radio. Truth be told, I avoid all outside media-based influences. I don't care what the hell is going on in this season of "Survivor," I think most broadcast programs are a joke and I personally don't care to have my mind spit on. Just a self-respect thing.

Books:

House of Leaves by Mark Z. Danielewski, Survivor /Choke by Palahniuk, Tao Te Ching by Lao Tzu, The Prince by Machiavelli, Twilight of The Idols By Nietzche, The Law Is For All by Aleister Crowley, Black Coffee Blues by Henry Rollins, Good Omens by Gaiman/Pratchett, and Strange Rumblings in Atzlan by the late Dr. Hunter S. Thompson (We miss you, Doc!)

Heroes:

Hannibal Lecter Bill Hicks, Yamamoto Tsuentomo, Nietzche, Machiavelli, Boyd Rice, Wong Fei Hong, David Bowie, Dr. Hunter S. Thompson, Oscar Zeta Acosta, Lon DuQuette, Aleister Crowley, George Carlin, A. O. Spare......
