It’s a place where photographers can display their work and fans can buy prints and posters of their favorites. It’s a worldwide network where surfers and photographers can communicate with each other about everything from boards to lenses to beach conditions. “It’s social networking like MySpace,” says Kvartuc. Members have profiles where they can send messages and post photos and comments. “But it goes beyond MySpace because it offers surfers original content to build their profiles with, and in the process it creates a marketplace for photographers and their pictures.
