i grew up on the north shore and was a surfer,sponsored by quiksilver, until the age 17 when i almost died at pipe masters. i started to do film making and soon became a surf film director, photographer, producer and score composer. i started playing guitar at 14 and continued to. i have 3 albums and a lot of collaborations with people like ben harper, g. love, and donavon frankenreiter.i have a wife and son that i live with in Oahu, Hawaii
