I started spinning when I worked security at a night club on Division St. I would get off work at about 1am and walk a couple doors down to The Leg Room and just mess around and be a human juke box because I had no clue what I was doing. Eventually I invited a friend of mine named RONIN to come play with me and teach me a few things. He did and because of him I learned all the basics I needed to know to properly spin music. Over the next few months I went out every nite to visit some of my other DJ friends such as Freddie O. , Johnny Price a.k.a. J.P. Gunnz , DJ Breeze , DJ Hitman , Frankie Hollywood Rodriguez , Martin Boogeyman Luna just to name a few. I would watch them like hawks to pick up tricks and learn new styles. I owe all of them for what I can do today. Now I occasionally spin at Excaliber with DJ Johnny Price on Wednesday nites and Thursdays at The Loft with Johnny also keep an eye out for my dates. Spinning is more than just what it seems to me. It is a way for me to let out my aggression legally. If i'm in a good mood I play happy , fun music but if i'm in a bad mood watch out because I just let the hard house and techno bang like there's no tomorrow. I am still trying to build a name for myself by doing a couple nights free occasionally. I have a pretty good following of fans right now that come out and support me when I play but im always looking for my fan base to grow. Music isn't just words and a beat , in CHICAGO MUSIC IS LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
