"Most people prefer to believe their leaders are just and fair even in the face of evidence to the contrary, because once a citizen acknowledges that the government under which they live is lying and corrupt, the citizen has to choose what he or she will do about it. To take action in the face of a corrupt government entails risks of harm to life and loved ones. To choose to do nothing is to surrender one's self-image of standing for principles. Most people do not have the courage to face that choice. Hence, most propaganda is not designed to fool the critical thinker but only to give moral cowards an excuse not to think at all." - Michael Rivero.
Spent the early part of my adult life (over 8 years) in the U.S. Navy Submarine Service, doing what I thought was defending the freedom of the American people and our constitutional republic. Riding in a "boomer" (Ballistic Missile Submarine) gives you a significant amount of time to ponder your existence and catch up on some reading. During those years, I began my study of history and politics and have been addicted ever since.
I have a wonderful wife and two terrific kids, a good job, a nice home, and most of the things that people think about when they talk about the "American Dream". What I see today in our country is the "American Nightmare" and I sure don't want to leave that as a legacy for my children, or theirs (if and when the time comes).
First and foremost, I am not "anti-government", I'm merely against those we have elected that have failed to honor their oath to uphold and defend the constitution. "We The People" ordain and establish the existence of a general government - That statement is in the present tense -- They only continue to exist based on our continued support. This alone makes the claims of government "sovereignty" completely false when going against "We The People", both individually, and as groups.
That being said, pursuant to the original intent of the founding fathers, every American is free to do as they wish as long as they cause no harm to the person or property of another. Our constitution does not grant Americans "rights", it restricts our servant government from infringing on our God-given, inalienable rights. In effect, we are above the constitution, subject only to God's Laws. Is this what we have today? Is this what our children are taught in government-run schools? Is this what you read about in the papers? Is this what you see first hand when you end up in "traffic court" or being "examined" by the IRSS? Did you ask for a near strip search every time you board a plane? Did you ask for a National ID card? Did you ask to be a part of a bankrupt Ponzi scheme (Socialist inSecurity) that will provide you less money on retirement than you put in over your lifetime? Did you know that Social Security could disappear any day and no one in government could be held accountable? Did you know that the average "middle-class" American is giving up nearly 75% of his money in taxes? Did you know that the true national debt is approaching $70 TRILLION? Did you know that the GAO "cooks the books" to keep the reported national debt at it's current $9 TRILLION mark? Did you know that there's even a more horrible tax than the income tax and it's called "INFLATION"?
I am completely disheartened by the continuous encroachment on our freedoms by those in our servant government that have gone astray from the limitations imposed by the constitution. We started as a nation of "kings without kingdoms", where our land was ours and we could do as we pleased as long as we harmed no other or another's property. Now we must "ask permission" for nearly anything we do. And normally, "permission" comes with a "price". Let us keep in mind that a "license" or "permit" (yet another form of "tax")is permission from some "authority" (someone who rules over you) to do something that would otherwise not be permitted (illegal). So when you go add a fence to your property, you must get permission from the city/county/state? Exactly who is the "city"? Merely a fictional creation of society. Why does a real flesh and blood man or woman need permission from a fictional entity to do anything? Do you not own the property and the land it's sitting on? IT'S ALL ABOUT THE MONEY - THEY WANT SOME OF YOURS FOR ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING YOU DO! Government does not "give" anything, they exist merely to take from you and regulate you. They are a parasite feeding on your freedoms.
It is my sincere hope that We The People will understand what is happening and do something to restore our freedoms before we are faced with violence or having to commit violent acts to secure our God-given and inalienable rights as Americans.
A republic is based on the "Force of Law"
Our government is applying the "Law of Force" against Americans completely in defiance to the constitution that binds THEM (not us), to enslave us all into believing that they are in charge... Remember, WE are the PEOPLE and establish and ordain a government, they are not our creators, they are not our masters, WE THE PEOPLE are sovereign.
FOR THE EDIFICATION OF ALL, here is the preamble to the first ten amendments to our constitution, erroneously known as the "Bill of Rights":
"The conventions of a number of the States having at the time of their adopting the Constitution, expressed a desire, in order to prevent misconstruction or abuse of its powers, that further declaratory and restrictive clauses should be added: And as extending the ground of public confidence in the Government, will best insure the beneficent ends of its institution."
These amendments restrict the powers of the general government to prevent them from doing what they do to us today! There are no "constitutional rights" there are merely restrictions on the general government, limiting their authority over us to eighteen enumerated powers.

One thing that might help is to end the proliferation of overstuffed bills filled with pork and hidden laws (like the REAL ID Act). One organization working to prevent this is "Downsize DC" (DownsizeDC.org).
I'm also a strong advocate for gun ownership. I believe the 2nd amendment is pretty clear "...the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed." What part of "shall not be infringed" do those in our government NOT UNDERSTAND? As a Veteran, and one who lives within the exterior boundaries of the fictional entity known as the Florida Republic, it is rather easy to get a "concealed carry permit" but the truth is that the constitution, the "supreme law of the land" says that no law can be valid that would thwart my inalienable right to arm myself to whatever means I can afford.
