Hey this is Donnie Smith, Let me introduce you to, Shawn Eager, Hes a singer, songwriter and a guitar player. His roots run deep in the Blues , Americana , Country and Rock. He's written more songs than I can keep track of over the 15 years I have known him. Shawn is one of those rare musicians that has the God given talent to write songs effortlessly. Thank You Donnie for those kind words... I am a singer/songwriter and in that I find my happy thoughts, it is what allows me to fly. While it is true that I have roots in the blues, etc.... I wouldn't say those roots run deep. I am more weed like than that. I stay shallow and ready to suck the life out of whatever gets near me. And yes it is true that I have written more songs than you can keep track of. But lets face it your background in music may well have left you with a short term memory problem... hey look at the dudes you hung out with... I will concede to rarity although I see it like I am paisley vest at a black tie affair. As for "...a ride you won't soon forget." ... the only rides I remember always have something to do with motion sickness and I don't think I want that image connected to my music....OOPS...too late.
