About Me

Music has been a HUGE part of my whole life, but a real struggle as well. I started out with a record player and with hundreds of records by the age of eight. Then cassettes, then CD's...etc.
Favorite ARTISTS:
I'm a HUGE fan of my Brother/mentor D. BELL A.K.A. Diamond D. back in the Old Skool days 1989-1993... He has worked with me on a dozen songs since 1996! "The Rescue" is the title of our current track and I'm stoked to complete it!

^^^That's just a taste of what I am usually like as a person. I like my friends to stick thru the hard times... YES, I can be complex, but it's mostly because I care for what I work towards. I don't give up easily, so the blames not all on me! I AM A BIG O CHILD w/ LOT's of energy and passion. I don't mean to cause needless drama, but it happens, especially when something is tearing me up inside and I don't understand.
I write, sing, dance, play and just started recording again. I started recording songs in my Grandmas garage on a Kareoke machine when I was 14. I've written and recorded over 250 songs since in a home studio and you can listen to ONE of them right here. In 1999, I joined Fifty 50 my first band till 2002, fun times/NO REGRETS. Jerry Peerson, Daren Challman, Mikey Haslip, Jillian and Drew Bateman: I LOVE YOU ALL, for real though!!! Now, I'm in a band called MERCURIUS, with Jason Skifstad, Tom "Tommy-Boy" Pike and Dave "Chainsaw" Hawkins, since 2004!! It is not the style I ever imagined myself being a part of, but I've grown and being a lyrics guy I knew it might be good for me.

Feel free to write me at anytime... I love a good little letter to respond to and even not-so-good ones... I will always try to look at things through the eyes of love, so BRING IT ON, I am not afraid of words.
Thanks again!
Love,
Ricky
