Davide Cecchi

I was born in Pisa, Italy in 1984. I began playing drums at the age of 10 or 12, without taking any lesson. Not too seriously. I've played in a lot of bands as Jakaranda (alt.rock), Waukees (punk-rock), Colors and Dreams (rock), Novadeaf (indie) and others.. Once i finished the high school (19 years old) i decided to go ahead and begin studying a melodic instrument. I've choosen the classical (and electric) guitar. In 2005 i attained the licence of musical theory at the Academy of Music "L. Boccherini" in Lucca, and, in 2006, the lower diploma (5th year) in classical guitar at the musical institute "P.Mascagni" in Livorno, Italy, i am actually studying for the second one (8th year).I worked on some soundtracks for Adriano Di Ricco, an astonishing and talented video artist from Rome (have a look to the video section), for the - Alien Encouter ride - video, shown for the Sci-Fi Weekend (17-18 June 2006) at the National Space Centre (Leicester, UK) and for the Jackline Hunter Films site logo (http://films.jacklinehunter.com/audiof/no1r).Since i had my first computer (an old commodore 64) i was fascinated by electronic music. Later i met the pc world and began using some music tracking programs as FastTrackerII or ScreamTracker. Today i use the computer to create the parts as drums, bass, piano and strings. Guitars are, of course, recorded and then mixed with the rest.That's all :)
