The Smiles

Formed in 2005 by Dan who has been a solo artist for some years creating his own interesting style of haloustic sound. Once the band was formed with Kyle and Tommo there was no stopping the crazy beer drinking practices that followed. Gigs have been comming along steady and the band is now moving to a new level of playing and stage peformance. Major gigs include The Parihaka International Peace Fest 2006 & 2007. Also Taranaki Wine & Food Fest 2006 (w/Black Seeds & The Warratahs)& 2007 (w/Rhombus & Tommy). Odessa & Tommy at Matinee and lately Australian sensation Rubix Cuba at The Basement.
