About Me

Mephymology merge pop/folk sensibilities with rock energy and intensity, crafting songs with a delicate hand, and delivering passionate live performances. Forming early on in 2005, Mephymology have toured the South Island twice, the North Island once and played at numerous festivals including Samstock Music Festival, Parachute and the Parihaka International Peace Festival.Through 2005 - 2007, Mephymology recorded and released three EPs: 'Mephymology 101', '102' and '103'. After a break in the later part of 2007 to indulge in some overseas travel, Mephymology returned to writing, recording their debut studio album in August 2008 with producer Geoff Duncan. The album was released on the 26th of September 2008, at Samstock Music Festival.
