For thirty years, The Cinema Arts Centre has been
NY's premier venue for independent, international and repertory film, hosting innovative and influential filmmakers and community forums.
They will now host the CAMP Festival where we will feature workshops and screenings geared towards various political topics and social themes.
CAMP provides a forum that brings together aware
individuals within the arts, music and film
communities so they can share ideas and form
collaborations.
CAMP’s mission is to spread peace love and optimism
through summer-camp style workshops and screenings
designed to educate and enlighten the individual.
The chosen theme of this year’s CAMP festival is peace
and consciousness. CAMP wants to highlight timely
topics such as racism, activism, homophobia, the
electoral process and free speech.
