My Interests

This answer is better meant for conversation over tea...

I'd like to meet:

Other artists, of course. Like minds, new perspectives, and progressive people. Truth seekers, beauty creators, fun people ... and so on and so forth.

Life is to short to make one decision.
Music's too large for just one station.
Love's too big for just one nation.
God is too big for just one religion.
Coexist.

Music:

Everything. World Beat, Techo (of all varities), Classical (particularly Baroque), New Age, Jazz, Blues, Glam ... David Bowie, David Bowie, David Bowie. The list goes on and on and fluxuates with the days of the week.

Movies:

Recently: Lady in the Water. Not so recently: Labyrinth. Oh, and ever important -- What the Bleep Do We Know?, For a laugh ...House of Yes, and for a sigh, House of Flying Daggers.

Television:

Desperate Housewives, I admit. Boston Legal, when I remember. History Channel, Bravo, and HBO when available.

Books:

There are so many, but let's begin. Poets. Romantic. Byron, Shelly, Keats and Coleridge all turn that key. Pablo Neruda. e.e. cummings. Shakespeare. Authors of Fantasy fiction and historical fiction--there are many.

Heroes:

Inspiration in the mundane, the fantastic, and the anonymous alike. No names today, lest someone feel left out.

Love; A Discovery.

I was thinking about my past relationships today, and how no matter how traumatic, trivial, or wonderful each one was, that I learned something different each time. I treasure these lessons, even if s...

Storm overtakes the Rain

Todays storms were rather manic, fluxuating between deliciously high winds, pouring rain, and a teasing gray with nothing falling of blustering, and ever so delicately sunshine would peek-a-boo. Seems...

Karmic Mirror-pool ...

Looking down at reflections, you don't expect to see them animate themselves and spring to life. A reflection is meant to be a still portrait of what you are, not a portal for the ghosts of your past ...

So, what exactly has been going on? So much! This is just a cursory update, for those of you who do not read my Live Journal, since I seem to be aquiring more friends on myspace by the day. So what IS...

Pretty words to feed my hungry heart

On this half lit day With your crown beneath your wing Every word just echoes And the empty world sings Where have you gone my feather light heart? I never imagined I could leave. In the gli...
