The Heritage Festival is a 3-day outdoor food and music festival now in its 28th year. It is held on the next to the last weekend in July at Pierce Stadium in East Providence, RI. This year's dates are July 18, 19 and 20. Heritage Festival prides itself on showcasing the arts in a family oriented enviornment. Over the past 27 years it has presented hundreds of artists in all genres of the performing arts. Both our community and our state have been enriched by the festival's cross-cultural platform. This event provides a wonderful opportunity for all age groups to celebrate our own musical heritage as well as to experience in an atmosphere of camaraderie the music, cuisine and artistry of other lands thereby gaining a greater understanding of the common threads that unite us. East Providence Heritage Days, Inc. is a 501(c) (3) public charity.
LOVERBOY will headline this year's festival on Saturday, July 19th. Our local favorite Band of Brothers will open the show.
Funding provided in part by a grant from the Rhode Island State Council on the Arts, through an appropriation by the Rhode Island General Assembly, a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts and private funders.
