Country music and sci-fi films top my list of current interests. Two of my children live in Maine and have resurrected my interest in Stephen King movies...no pun intended there...1408 was very good, in my opinion. I enjoy working in the yard and gardening, swimming at the YMCA, playing games with my grandchildren and spending time listening and learning about the fascinating and fast paced world the five of them are growing up in. I love baseball and am a wonderful spectator...lol...The Chicago Cubs and the Boston Red Sox are my favorite teams. I, also, follow the Chicago Bears and the New England Patriots.

I'd like to meet:
Most of the people I would like to meet are either musicians or sports figures. The Eagles, Andre Rieu, Josh Groban, Celtic Thunder, Johnny Depp top my list of musical stars. Jon Papelbon of the Red Sox and I must add Dempster and the entire Chicago Cubs team for sports.

Science fiction movies and most "scary" movies are favorites. I, also, enjoy concerts and Broadway shows and musicals on DVD. Comedies are always a welcome break!

News of hard times, war, and troubled people seem to dominate TV these days. The Crime and Investigation channel, Animal Planet, PBS channels, NAT GEO, documentaries and specials are enjoyable.
