FAT MOUNTAIN

Formed in 2004 by Nick Tsoulos and Ilias Vasileiou, Fat Mountain (named after the impressive mountain cape in Kerveli area- Samos where the idea of a band developed) consists of members of different musical influences which are heavily reflected on their music. Incorporating Gothic atmosphere, alternative-experimental attitudes, gothic metal melodies, folk elements as well as crystal fresh ideas in approaching cover versions (e.g Bauhaus-passion of lovers, New Order- blue monday, Bananarama- venus) Fat Mountain demand the exploration of new gothic attitudes and the efflorescence of a post-gothic, mind-affected, atmosphere-based musical society. The past 3 years have been really creative, songs like the folk-gothic-metal Angel Bitch and the more alternative Mary Screams, immediately dominated most of our fans musical brains. The band performed live in a series of events, most important one the participation in IREON ROCK FESTIVAL 2006 which was a big hit while we were all able to explore the band's potentials and dynamics both in terms of performing live and musical composition. Fat Mountain are now working in studio with new material, always changing and re-establishing their contact with music.
