About Me

I have a deep passion for music and enjoy a wide range of styles.
I love being outdoors and enjoy wild, wide open spaces. The beach, a forest, up in the mountains or wandering across the marshes, anywhere that I can get away from the turbulent rush of everyday life.
I find great beauty in the world around me and spend many happy hours trying to capture the full beauty of it with my camera, it humbles me to never be able to achieve that goal.
As a child I spent a great deal of my spare time in a rowing boat on the river, I have always loved being near water. Just hearing the gentle lapping of water against the side of a boat takes me to a place of peace and tranquility.
I greatly enjoy sound and spend a lot of time just listening to the natural sounds of the world around me. I love the sound of the waves on the sea, the gentle trickle of a mountain stream the splashing of a waterfall. The wind sighing through trees or gently easing its way accross a grassy meadow. The soft buzzing of a bee as it explores flowers on it's endless search for nectar.

The state of music

I remember many years ago, going into a local record store (anyone remember Robins records in Norwich) and the guy behind the counter saying "hey knowing the sort of music you like, I reckon you will ...
