THE HILLTOPS

I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4 The Hilltops were born late in the year 2000 with musicians that had been part of other bands with the common idea of having as a result a music style between Rock’n’Roll and Country, something that they call Rockin & Western.The Hilltops try to deliver with their music the essence of American roots music: Hillbilly, Swing, Honky Tonk, Blues, Bluegrass, Rockabilly, Western Swing, Rock'n'Roll...They have a big repertoire with a lot of own songs and others that are covers that go from Bob Wills or Buck Owens to Johnny Burnette or Carl Perkins.They have played in a lot of clubs around Spain and in some important festivals in Spain and France. Among others: Shotwell 59, Jambalaya, Nashville Club, Cotton Fields, Wild Bunch Ranch, Forth Dakota, Blue Moon, Carretera 13, Other Place, Magic Club in the Barcelona area, Subsonic in (Montpellier) France …. and festivals as the Barcelona Hayride (Barcelona) or Country Rock Festival (France).Now they'll start to play around Europe starting August 2005.
