Photography, dance, illustration, writing, Burning Man, amusement parks, film, skydiving, fondue theme parties, juicy Hollywood dish, astrology, the list goes on and on and on... - and I'm such a Gemini that by tomorrow I'll have a couple dozen brand new ones I haven't even thought of yet
William Shatner, my alter ego, the ultimate partner in crime, courageous coconspirators, lovers of life
I'm open to just about anything and everything - especially house, world beat, and anything with fast, fierce drum beats - but like I said, I like it all EXCEPT, of course, bland Billboard chart type of stuff by mediocre talents who are way too young and untalented to be showered with all the riches and adulation. And easy listening's Between the Sheets type of crap makes me want to gag. But other than that, IT'S ALL GOOD!
I am very passionate about movies and love just about anything that isn't some big, blockbuster, pissing contest-type movie for guys who like movies, or that doesn't star Julia Roberts. I do love the old film noirs and darker expressionist films, along with anything by David Lynch, as well as good, schlocky fare like Beyond the Valley of the Dolls (not to be confused with its predecessor, The Valley of the Dolls; Beyond the Valley has Russ Meyer's hands all over it and is really out there, which I love - tits and ass hit the psychopathic skids!)
VHI Celebreality TV (especially, and I shudder to admit, The Flavor of Love - my 2nd most guilty pleasure), Twin Peaks, TJ Hooker, AbFAb, IFC, Bravo and public access (where you can bask in the glory of Queen Bee and the Mr. Stinky Show!)
I love just about any, but especially anything by Hunter S. Thompson, "You'll Never Eat Lunch in This Town Again", "Even Cowgirls Get the Blues", biographies of people who fascinate me, and the Earth Chronicles, which confirm that the truth is indeed stranger and better than fiction
Mr. William Shatner!!(oh yeah, and Hunter S. Thompson, Carl Sagan, Carl Jung, Julia Butterfly Hill, and all those who speak their minds and defend the defenseless)
