Upcoming releases:

Blake/e/e/e - Border Radio
U.S.: April 8th, 2008
Europe: September 2008 (t.b.c.)

Border Radio is an album you can trust like a priest giving last rights trusts there is a God above him. It's 42 minute running time becomes 42 truely felt minutes of music straight from the Zen Hymnal. It's time to pack the winter clothes away as Blake/e/e/e takes you to eternal summer.

Border Radio is a spiritual quest. The album ends with the song "Saint Lawrence Tears." This song connects the sky to the earth, the high with the low, the spiritual with the terrestrial, the angels with the beasts. The voice of Marcella Riccardi encourages us to "build our God on the shore."

"The Great Rescue Episode," reaches the threshold of what we know about ourselves and what is vastly unknown. Here Paolo Iocca sings the blue prints to a path to enlightenment after the fall of civilization with "I'm happy here, I eat leaves, fruits and earthdust." While "Time Machine" is what it sounded like when the Tin Man got his heart from the Wizard.

Blake/e/e/e is anything but traditional. They are able to find a jungle inside a desert, an ocean hidden in Time Square. When monks and hippies, natives and business men, skeletons and world leaders run off into the wilderness on their personal pilgrimage, they will be tuned into the Border Radio.

FREEFOLK RECORDS - FREEFOLK RECORDS is our small music adventure. we are a modern day collective in the spirit of the Manson Family, but instead of heinous murders, illicit drug use and a cultish mindset, we bring you the most breath taking resplendent art form the underground music scene has ever witnessed. We are not a proper record label, our ambition is to stand up against the hurricanes with a religious perspective of the musical art form. We are the born again vigilantes, here to break down the cartoon walls of the chaotic and self indulgent independent record scene, here to alleviate the boredom in the wake of bullshit music. We are getting back to the roots of music, the barbaric yawp, the crying of the Man, His sacred and most natural way of asking His big Questions to His gods. His way of feeling free and strong, of seeking Providence, instead of fighting Destiny. Stay tuned for future releases and projects from Freefolk. Evolve with us.
