Band Members: …All began with Rock’n Roll…I was born in Germany and my Father was Singer & Guitarplayer in a Rock’n Roll Band...his King was Elvis of course !..
When I moved to France at the age of 12, I quickly played in several bands and it turned more around cold wave (Rezo Übergang)…after, I had a big period with 60’s 70’s psyche-rock (The Silly Things, cosmoNAutes)..
Then we took a turn with "cosmoNAutes" to more techno-rock but without machines..The band was made up of only 2 Basses (my friend Jeffrey the Albinos-Lead Bass, my friend Luke Skywalker alias Luke2k-Bass and myself-drums & voice…
After the split of "cosmoNAutes" in 1997, I founded "Sputnik & The Misty Mission" with my friend Marc Roxalane (guitar) ending 1998, only made up of guitar/drums-voice with samples & groovebox in a style we called “noisy-techno-pop”…
We found quickly a booking manager and we played between Switzerland, Germany and France from 99 to 02…
A 5 titles EP called “Chair Mobile” resulted from this duo wich was in reality a trio because of the man in the shadow : Morel P.
But before talking about that guy I continue the story because in 03 we sticked together the band "cosmoNAutes" for some new 3 years...
The sound is more incisive, more "stoner", a new style we called "cosmic power noise". I think with this band we had more than 450 gigs and we’ve played with bands like "The Fleshtones, The Ramones, Frank Black, The Ex- Flamin'Groovies, Young Gods" and some french artists : "Jad Wio, Roadrunners, Double Nelson, Mass Hysteria, LT No"...
94 is the year the "cosmoNAutes" released their first album on the label "Nova Express Records”. The 2nd album "Taking shape again" came out in june 96, and the third “Back on Earth” came out in 04. We had our last gig in spring 06 before spliting for the last time, I think !!!
I’m also a studio-drummer.....I played on more than 25 records up till now and the most were produced by the label “Nova Express Records” created by Lukas Trouble aka “The Kaiser”. Most of those albums are available. Ask me.
At the same time while playing in those bands Pascal Morel aka "Morel P.", Marc Roxalane and myself were often working together on different projects : for example composing and playing live for some Street Theater Companies (La Cosmikanik with cosmoNAutes & the company Quartier de Nuit (Mulhouse-France)/ Company Komplex Kapharnaüm (KXKM) (Villeurbanne-France) / Les Goulus-Obsessionnels (Paris-France) / La Berezina with Modern d'Occaz' & Materia Prima (Nancy-France).
"Morel P." is also composer for film & advertising so we worked on several promotional films. You can see them on : www.mpsound.net ....
Ending 04 we worked together on a big production, an in-door comedy called “Merlin”. It happened in Paris-Bercy and about 5 cirkus & 5 street-theater companies were working on this spectacle directed by Jean-Luc Prévost from “Les Goulus". It was telling a different story of the King Arthur who was catched in a life-size videogame.
Pascal, Marc & myself, we were playing the music live in Bercy but we needed a female voice for the show so we organised a casting and we met THE girl with THE voice we dreamed about : A girl called "MA".
An album with the songs of the show was released in 04 and is also available. Ask me.
After this adventure, the band decided to continue its existence under the name “Hardbeat von Caravan”. We had about 20 gigs since that time. The band is not playing very often because everyone is working on other projects at the same time…

Now I’m playing with "MA" in a performance-concert called “Public Therapy”. We call the style “electronic rock’da house”.
We had about 15 shows together since november 06 and it seems to work pretty good because we receive a lot of gig-proposals.
I'll start working on a more personnal project too, composing some new songs with my laptop, my good old groovebox, samples, voice & drums of course !! The style will be in the direction of "Sputnik & the Misty Mission" but with a new mission !! : "noisy-techno-pop"..with some "electro rock'n cold-wave" !?!?!….
I accompany also "Luke2K" the ex-Bassplayer from the "cosmoNAutes" who has created his own live dj set and has released two albums in an "electro-dub-down-tempo" style (have a look on his page !!)....
I’m working on some new songs for "MA" too….
For sure now my “Head”-band is "MA" because I like that girl, I think what we’re doing is pretty cool (I'm talking about musik !) and anyway, I need a psy-nurse…My head is sooooooo sick !!! Love to everybody........Bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...... Pete.
