Just when you think these amazing musicians may be getting tired, they are only beginning to get warmed up for the long strange trip which is our "American Jam." Wikipedia will decide, if American Jam will be the term settled upon to identify this mixture of rock, psychedelic and progressive rock, funk, progressive bluegrass, folk, country, world music and jazz. We play it all at once and call it "American Jam."
There's a special place that brownBus Music wants to take you and it is very special. Jon Sten of Homegrown Music Network, defined this place best in his comments of 07/05/2006. brownBus Music was present with Jon at that performance of BoomBox at Nelson Ledges Quarry Park last summer and we salute him for putting this into words! Jon said (regarding BoomBox),.."I was standing there in front of that stage when I experienced one of those indefinable, indescribable moments. The very same moments that happens only a few times in a lifetime if you're even lucky enough to get one....(during "Last thoughts on Woodie Guthrie," written by Bob Dylan)...My face begins dancing. My soul feels a rip and I leave the universe for one brief moment of bliss. It was better than time travel. Life does not get any better than that one pure magical moment of musical madness which I experienced that morning. I would like to thank BoomBox for taking me there. I really missed that place. The true power of music and only music is greatly underestimated....."

Our music will be supplied by some of the finest musicians on the planet, and although the names may change, the music will not. We don't like interruptions because we're trying to get to that special place and it may take 7 hours. Our bands will play and appear as one, and their devotion allows them to harness their identity and BECOME THE MUSIC........We welcome Cosmic Railroad and Braided Funk from Wisconsin, and Covert Operations from Michigan, to bring our fans to that special place in Music for our very first show, we love you guys!
