About Me

I am a pretty laid back person who likes the simple things in life. I love the Lord Jesus with all my heart and want my life to reflect His love. Pete, my husband, is the best husband in the world. He supports and encourages me in whatever I do. What a guy! We will be celebrating our 10 year anniversary this year - yeah! Family is a huge part of my life. My parents are in Blountville Tennessee, and we will be settling there next spring. Actually, we are now official residents of Tennessee. We are on a 10 month road trip across the country - and loving every minute of it! Pete's daughters and families live in Texas and Washington DC. I'm so blessed to have such a great family & I love them all dearly! My step grandchildren mean more to me than I can put into words. They are all beautiful, special kids, each with his/her own special talents and qualities. They bring such joy to my life. I love being a Mimi! My brother and family live in VA - my nieces and nephew are so precious to me - I miss living near them ... My music is a very big part of my life. I've been playing the banjo for 6 years or so, and guitar for a few years. Not professionally, just for fun (for now....) The biggest and most important part of my life is my walk with the Lord. He is everything to me. The best day of my life was the day I gave my heart to Jesus.
