Jamie is the lead, tenor singer and guitar player for the legendary Bluegrass music band Doyle Lawson and Quicksilver six time Bluegrass Music Vocal Group of the Year. Jamie has been with the group for nine years. Doyle Lawson and Quicksilver have toured 42 countries and every state in the U.S. Doyle Lawson and Quicksilver have been nominated for five Grammies.Jamie has recorded vocals with other artist on their recordings such as Dolly Parton, Ricky Skaggs, Rhonda Vincent and others. Jamie has also traveled solo Internationally with Heads of State from several countries as part of the "Young Leaders of America" Jamie was hand picked by U.S. Ambassador Faith Whittlesey. Jamie engaged in foriegn policy talks with other young leaders and Heads of State from around the world. Jamie has been invited several times to star solo in Swiss and U.S. Embassy's and has even been given the name Bluegrass Ambassador says U.S. Ambassador Faith Whitlesey senior White House official (Reagan Admin.) Jamie attends these events when his schedule allows.Doyle Lawson and Quicksilver tour over 180 days a year. January 4th 2008 he and his partner Darrin Vincent from Ricky Skaggs band already have a heavy tour schedule for 2008 with already 120 dates booked and still booking.
