The Thunderbolts

Heart So Cold!

About Me

The first version formed in 1960 in Plattsburgh, NY. They recorded two pedestrian 45s under their own name for Rondack Records as well as a stunning instrumental under the name Shawn & The Sunnys for the same label. Adding members from Mike & The Ravens and relocating to Burlington, VT in 1963 they briefly backed Sandu Scott and appeared on The Ed Sullivan Show in December 1964. Down to a trio, they recorded a brace of unforgettable 45s, "There Was I" b/w "Without A Song" and "Heart So Cold" b/w "A Taste Of Honey" in January 1965.
