La banda se formo hace 2 años +o-, anteriormente eran LOS TOSKOS (banda de hc.punk vieja escuela muy ebrios y drogados/a), mediados del 88 con tingui en la viola, recien en el 94-95 graban en un compilado llamado "TOMA DE ACA" nombre del mismo sello qe lo hacia, junto a bandas como CIRCULO VICIOSO, REZAGO, SANGRE SUDAKA, Y LOS KARROÑA SOCIAL. LOS TOSKOS siguieron tokando, hasta qe hubo un parate ... en ese tiempo el cantante se accidenta (operacion de por medio y 7 tornillos en el hueso) , en ese tiempo de no hacer nada aprende a tokar la guitarra y se forma la nueva banda formada por ex miembros de los TOSKOS (ABELARDO: bateria, PAYER: bajo y FOKA:guitarra y voz). Today the band consists of 4 members; Abelardo (drums), Payer (bass), Maximo (guitar) and foka (guitar & vocals). The background of the band’s members varies from metal, hardcore punk, garage, psychobilly… rock ‘n roll, and the street violence that each environment caused. Therefore the music of the band today is a trashy fusion of all that, except from the braindead violence they don't fucking approve of! Tenebre thanks all the people and musicians that believe in them and in underground rock and roll. And a huge kick in the ass to the people that closes the doors and the minds. We don't need them! …………OH!
