Part of the IAIA Institute of American Indian Arts community in Santa Fe New Mexico. Currently promoting new CDs of my spoken word/poetry and my son's music, it was mixed, programmed & produced by my 27 year old son Duran Flint (DJ DURAN FLINT or DJ FLINT) hes back home living right on top of the NY Canada border in Mohawk territory. Im old school, he's new school, kinda like Common and Ceelo whos Dads were old school funksters. The first CD we did is a political set about Native American/Indian themes, columbus, homeland security, called, POWER TO THE PEEPHOLE, about 75 minutes w/ my color art on cover; the newest one WOLVES & LAMBS ...an erotica set about 55 minutes, my color art on the cover. Duran's DJing and mixing is great, we killed opening night at IAIA Museum in Santa Fe, with a DJ taking my sons place and painted lady dancing her own political statement, we will be looking to gig around Santa Fe the next few months.
