A 2004 Dodge Neon carrying four occupants hit a tree at high speed eight feet above ground and split in half in the 200 block of East Burlington Street, according to a Riverside police press release "The two back seat passengers were both pronounced dead at area hospitals shortly after transport by Riverside Fire Department personnel," according to the release. "Witnesses told investigators that the vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed at the time of the accident" at 9:08 p.m. Saturday. All four occupants were wearing seatbelts, said police, who added that the car was airborne when it struck the tree. (SOME ONE THAT CAN GIVE US JUSTICE)Michelle Anguiano Not guilty plea in crash that killed teensBy BOB UPHUESAt her arraignment in Cook County Circuit Court on May 10, Lyons resident Michelle Anguiano pleaded not guilty to three counts of aggravated reckless driving related to a January crash that took the lives of two teenagers. Anguiano, 17, will next appear in court on June 4 for a status hearing in front of Judge Carol Kipperman, according to Cook County State's Attorney spokesman Andrew Conklin.Anguiano remains free on bond after her arrest on March 15. Police say Anguiano lost control of a 2004 Dodge Neon while trying to pass another vehicle on East Burlington Street in Riverside on Jan. 27. The vehicle was traveling at speeds between 63 and 77 mph, according to an accident reconstruction performed by the Cook County Sheriff's Police. The car wound up jumping a curb and hitting a large tree in the 200 block of East Burlington Street. The impact of the crash ripped the car, which was carrying Anguiano and three passengers, in half.Stanley Joray, 18, of Berwyn, and Adam Tebockhorst, 16, of Lyons, were killed in the crash. Anguiano was severely injured and was hospitalized for over two weeks. The third passenger, a 17-year-old Lyons boy, walked away from the crash with minor injuries.Anguiano faces up to three years in prison if convicted of the charges. Her attorney, Fred Acosta, said at the time of her arrest that the case against her is a weak one."This is way overcharged on their part," Acosta said in march. overcharged my ass you mean not charged enough for killing 2 great kids http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VsuT201Rq3k
