I am a promoter, show producer, booking agent, band manager and live music enthusiast. I moved from the Okanagan to Vancouver in 2007. Currently, I am not booking at the moment.
I have produced live music gigs and a variety of special events in the Okanagan for over 5 years. Punk rock, rockabilly and bands with a certain something-something are my favourite genres to work with. I promote underground culture whenever possible to keep it alive and give it a home! Newly transplanted to Vancouver, I am stoked to be working for the Vancouver International Fringe Festival and enjoying city life.
THE BANDS:
Im managing and booking Grim Hymn and the Horrors from Vernon. They are definitely a new psycho force to be reckoned with. They rock strong punk anthems mixed with 50s undertones, a pinch of ‘billy and pure rock aggression that’s sure to assault all senses.
What about the real Vixn that lurks inside the perpetual promoter? I am into the arts and everyday can be a personal exhibition. Im best served hanging with creative people, playing with poster designs and spending as much time as possible listening to music and going to shows. Im a Mehndi artist and play with fire. I have a sick sense of humour and a twisted darkside.
I would like to remain timeless.
