The wait is over!! Renée is back and ready for business. This sexy Canadian has alot to share. With Jamaican-Chinese and Indian heritage she has alot going on and others would be shocked to learn! Not only are her hazel eyes mesmerizing, so is her voice and her infectious personality.
Currently, Renee is writing on various projects as well as her own album.In the past, Renee has worked with voices like Glenn. Lewis,Ray Robinson, 2 Rude,Luther. Brown, Choclair, Kardinal, O'shea. Hunter, Billy Alexander, Chris. Rouse, Carlos. Morgan ( Socan. Awards), Jason. Simmons, InEssence, and a personal friend Delisha. Thomas. Just to name a few.
As a solo and independent artist Renée has celebrated a few triumphs. Her song “My Baby” produced by Marcus Kane was released on Flow 93.5’s Urban Flow Case Volume 3, which held down the number “3” spot on the top 8 at 8 for 4 weeks and received more than 40 spins per week. The song was also featured on Showtime’s Soul Food the series.
Her second single Beautiful World, written by Renée and James Bryan was released on James Bryan’s tilted “Beautiful World” album in 2005 with Blacksmith/Universal had rave reviews.(Eye Weekly 08.11.05, NOW magazine 05.12-18.05). The song also won Renée the 2005 Honey Jam Prize Pack and the following year Renée was the face for the Honey Jam flyer. In September of 2007, "Beautiful World" was released in the UK.
“This is only the beginning”, states Renée. “I’ve decided to make an outlet for my music. So, I created my own label: Wynterland Entertainment with my two partners who are also my older sisters. This is no joke, I’m a determined woman who is committed!” Traveling back and forth to New York Renée has studied the Industry and made significant contacts. She said" Listen, right now I'm on the grind. I'm banging out new joints everyday. New songs will be loaded. Not just for the pleasures of listening to me but songs up for grabs. So to all the labels A&R's.......I'm ready!"
Not only is Renée driven, she’s patient. We asked her how she copes with the waiting period and she says, “I’ve seen a lot of acts come and go because they wanted to take the first chance that came their way. I’ve had the same temptation....... Believe me. I have my eyes on the prize but in the end, you want what’s best for you, and I’m willing to wait and write hits. I'm trying to build my catalogue. I’ve seen a lot of artists make the same mistake and I’m not willing to go down that road. I know God has a plan for me and I’m on my way!”
