Welcome to the mad, twisted world of SNDJ!
I’m a Homo Sapien residing in the UK, in county by the name of Kent. I’ve been making and producing music longer than I can remember now. Music with intensity and passion has always been of great inspiration to me, which groups like the Prodigy, Pitchshifter, Atari Teenage Riot, Combichrist and many more, have been. You could say my music falls into the catagory of EBM or Industrial but you decide! I am working on my third album at the moment which will be called 'The Ying Yang Projekt', which is done in a completely different format to my prevoius ones. This one will comprise of two E.P's. One being called 'Songs of the Light' and the other being 'Songs of the Dark'. The first will comprise of Happier and more feel good songs, and other will be made up of bandin, rip your face off tracks! It had to be done as two seperate mini albums because the songs are far too contrasting and would mot work alongside one another! I hope this will demonstrate the diversity of what I can compose as an artist. There are a few tracks available to listen to from it on the other player on my page so go and check them out! So now the philosophy lessons over, I can tell you a little bit more about the other things I get up to! I teamed up with my partnered and co-conspirator DJ Trouble to form S & M Productions in 2006, and in a joint effort, been working the circuit in and around Maidstone and Nottingham. We have done several showcase events for ourselves and other artists who are interested in pushing the limits of conventional music. More recently I've been taking more of a centre stage possition this another Maistone group called 'Outta City Committee'. These guys having been pushing the boundries, as far as conventional UK hip hop is corncerned. Currently we've been touring on the BBC's 'Introducing' April Tour and all across the southeast. There Has Already been an 'Agent X' (H2o) remix of one our songs and there's a music video in the pipeline too, so keep checking them out!
I myself have been DJing at as many events as I can physically do, spreading the word and getting more and more people interested in what I’m about. As a musician I have been playing guitar for over 14 years now, self taught, and have added bass, drums, piano, singing, rapping, sequencing and production to that! More recently an electric violin too!
I have an insatiable desire to create music and experience as much as my brain will allow! I am interested in any groups, bands, solo artists or DJ’s who don’t want to conform to what people say we should do. I'm all about the music and about having a good time doing it!
