Right now I reside in Los Angeles, CA where I am doing my graduate studies. When I'm not in a book I flip on the ole' VOX, grab the Tele, and try to make some music. If anyone out there in LA is looking for a rhythm or lead guitar player, let me know!I began playing the guitar due to the inspiration of such greats as my cousins Zach and Jake, my uncle Turk, and my brother Ryan. These four inspired me to pick up my dad's guitar and learn to play a G chord when I was in 8th grade. I have been playing for seven years (wow its been quite a while) with my brothers in Limit in which I have become aquainted with the stage and have really grown the ability to bring an acoustic song to a high energy setting. As I have made the move to LA, Limit is on hiatus, but definitely returning in the near future. The tunes I have been writing as of late are an attempt to tell a few tales. I want the listener to sit back and hear the story each song has to tell them, just as I remember listening to the stories my family told me in their songs around our campfires.These tunes are a few of the story-centered songs I have written in the past year. Oh and "Not Far Enough To Know" was recorded with Chris Langer @ Castle Studios with my band Limit, but I thought I'd throw it on since the story is rather truthful of my latest situation and endeavors.
