CD RELEASE PARTY AUGUST 9th @ O'GARA'S!!!!

About Me

From the city that brought you Prince, The Replacements, Motioncity Soundtrack and The Purple People Eaters, Minneapolis presents LIMIT. While this is the part of the bio where we are supposed to describe their musical prowess, we'd rather not feed you the same cliches about beautiful harmonies, roaring guitars and a grooving rhythm section....youll have to hear the music to make that call.
LIMIT created music together for the first time in a high-school church band in 2000. They got together with friend Larry Larson and recorded their first demo 'Turning Points' which, while rough on the edges, was a fair representation of where they were musically.
After playing numerous shows at local venues, the summer of 2004 brought LIMIT to local rock station 93x's 'Summer Band Slam' battle of the bands. Playing for a crowd of almost 1000 people at The Rock in Maplewood, MN, LIMIT took a satisfying 2nd place and was given time to record an EP at A440 Studios in Minneapolis.
LIMIT recorded 'The Exposure EP' on their Christmas break (2004) from their respective colleges. 'Exposure' brought a harder edge musically than LIMITs previous works. The song "Water" was featured on the local rockumentary "Find Your Own Way" and "Consider Yourself" was featured in a Big Sky extreme snowmobling film.
Currently, the band is gearing up to head into the studio with Mike Forbess and grammy-nominated engineer Chris W. Langer. With college almost in the rear-view mirror for these four young men, the band is ready to make a breakthrough. Testing the waters with a new and more melodic sound, LIMIT is itching to jump on a stage and perform for you.
