About Me

once upon a time, there was a bass in the corner of the room. sara picked it up and proceeded to play it. later, a tiny little man came to her with a guitar. she proceeded to play that as well. In the tropics some time later, sara was confronted with the question: "can you sing?" Sara's response to this question was: "I have no idea."
So Sara, with all these many things considered, sometimes plays music. actually, she plays music so much, she could be considered a melomaniac. for those of you who don't know what that is:
melo·ma·ni·ac
Pronunciation: "mel-O-'mA-nE-"ak
Function: noun
1 : an individual exhibiting melomania
2 : an individual (as a person or dog) that is inordinately and abnormally affected by musical or other tones in certain ranges of sound
Sara has put the results of her melomania here for your audio pleasure. may you enjoy it.
She also apologizes for the poor audio quality of these recordings, and her awful guitar playing...
she would like to let those that know her the following: the music posted on this site does not resemble anything that she listens to or plays...she actually doesn't even really play the guitar.....she is a jazz/funk/r&b bass player. She is sorry there is not any bass on these recordings...as of yet she has not figured out a way to record bass so that it shines through hard and strong. Sounds too weak right now.
Braintrees and Mr. Elusive are original tunes, Nude and Climb up the Walls are radiohead covers, and cry me a river is an old jazz standard.
THANKS FOR LISTENING!!
