Nigel James Quailo, aka. Mr. steele, born to Hyman & Daisy Quailo in the small community of Green-vale, located in the parish of Manchester, Jamaica
and is the fifth of seven children. A proud father of three boys and a dedicated family man, he endeavors to spread the message of love and unity through his music. Sandy as he is affectionately called by his peers wears many hats, but the one that truly describes him is "Mr. Steele" the unyielding and unique-vocal man, when it comes to equal rights and justice and as such there is no compromise in his music, he tells it as it is. Coming from a family of singers- his parents, Hyman & Daisy and brothers, Roger and Gregory- Nigel got his inspiration from them alongside Bob Marley and Dennis Brown. With a very strong and melodious voice, Nigel quickly got jealous of his brothers and began following in their footsteps and started writing and singing his own his own lyrics as he loved the vibes that was emanating from them. Since he discovered his love for music at a very tender age of 15 he has never refused the opportunity to get up on stage in front of a crowd.
Mr. Steels' love for music, has taken him from being a very shy individual to one that is very out spoken, and is always ready to challenge the masses with his lyrics and dance moves. Mr. Steele is a very charismatic individual.
He likes being around people and is very easy to get along with . He always has a smile on his face and he is very jovial. He loves to party and spends some of his free time doing thus and being a vibes master (when he is not busy in the studio). He passes his time by listening and dancing to other peoples' music, watching movies and reasoning with his friends about life and what life has to offer and also showing them how to take themselves out of negative situations. As an upcoming artiste he has done numerous shows in Jamaica and is looking to appear on many more. He has many songs that he
has written and is currently working on an album which is predicted to be "OUT OF THIS WORLD" and will be a "must have" item.
