Uwaine Frazer

Uwaine Palomino Frazer - Born August 27, in Jamaica West Indies. First son of Marlyn Palomino and reggae singer Phillip Frazer. He migrated to the United States at an early age where he resides in Brooklyn New York.Over the years Uwaine has written close to four hundred songs ranging from Rap ,Hip Hop, Reggae, Christian Ballads, Christmas Carrols,and R&B. He would classify himself as a Songwriter more than a vocalist.Uwaine has been compared to the likes of Bob Marley, Dennis Brown,Wyclef Jean and many other great minds in the business.Uwaine influences are his mother for her continued love and support; his Stepfather for all the lessons taught throughout his younger years, also his entire family for all the love and support they have shown.Uwaine musical influences ranges from Rod Stewart to Skeeter Davis and New Edition, but his biggest influence of all times, would be Bob Marley and the Wailers, Micheal Jackson and the Jackson Five .Uwaine a.k.a The Surgeon has been performing and writing ever since he was a toddler. At the age of eight he wrote his first song and sang it for the Neighborhood they were all amazed at his catchy lyrics and musical talents. Everyone on the block encourage him to pursue a Musical career.After spending most of his teenage years in Brooklyn New York recording with the likes of Daddy Rock from Rockshan Sound and other various Producers, he did stage performances while looking for a record deal, a record was not forth coming so he decided to relocate to Los Angeles California. In the spring of 1997 he was introduced to a Up and coming DJ’s in the Watts area of Los Angeles where he teamed and made a lot of air waves winning countless amount of Stage Shows Performances and taking home the trophy for first place at almost every Talent Show.Still looking for that big break in the business, Uwaine was unfortunate at times finding a record deal. Taken into consideration all the hard work he had put in, he was still left unsigned. In the summer of 1999 Uwaine decided to start his own label but lack of funds and matters of disagreement with his copartner led both individuals to go their separate ways, leaving Uwaine once again on his own.Even though Uwaine’s considered himself to be more of a song-writer than a vocalist, many of his peers would say ‘that’s not true” he is talented in both. He is waiting for the right opportunity.In January of the year 2000, Uwaine decided to brake away from the music world; he then relocated to Atlanta to deal with personal matter.The summer of 2006, he was introduce by a friend to up and coming producers and rappers F.l.i.p. Gucci and Shooks aka “the lyrical genius” where they theme on various track’s , these tracks were never release due to lack of promotion. However, this is the beginning of new journey because the group got reacquainted and went back to the studio where Uwaine sang the hook “In the Jag” . This was supposed to be a single but was featured on the” Still Addicted” album by F.l.i.p. Gucci. Since then these songs have had great reviews, they have collaborated on other moving tunes such as (“In My Drop Top its ok”,) “like Wow”,"On fire",and "Alone",a song that Uwaine had written recently about his past relationship ,Featured on Uwaine Frazer Hennessey album due out in 2008.Uwaine has been a driving force in the music industry!
