About Me

Hello there,I am a 42 year old professional musician/educator currently residing in Fort Bend County, Tx. I have been playing my instrument and peddling my wares for THIRTY YEARS!! I have been urged my many a friend to build my own space here. I am just your basic neurotic,battle scarred musician looking for a place to express my views, opinions and possible gig schedules in case you ever feel like "sticking your head in the door" to see whats going on. Thank you for checking this out. I hope you like what you see.

My Interests

I have to admit. I am still a sucker for a good Tom Clancy novel. Or the odd jazz biography. I love mexican food & still love a good conversation over dinner & margeritas.

I'd like to meet:

I guess I would have to say I'd like to meet anyone who is interested in what I have to say, post , play or care to mention. I'm just glad to be here so it would be cool to meet like minds.

Music:

I am very partial to 19th century Russian Romantic composers as well as jazz, bebop,90's electric jazz & muscle music. Let me not forget 70's classic rock, some heavy metal and various forms of arena rock.& classic r&b.

Movies:

M*A*S*H, Three Days of the Condor, The Hunt for Red October, pretty much anything by producer/director Daryl Zannuck(60's,70's), Spy Game, No Way Out etc.. etc..etc..

Television:

E.R, Law&Order, Studio 60, DIRT, again etc..etc.etc..

Books:

The Hunt for Red October, The Taking of Pelham 1.2.3, Point of Impact, The Autobiography of Quincy Jones

Heroes:

Hawkeye Pierce, Fred FlintStone, Micheal Brecker, Steve Smith, Brian Hackett. A few more lesser known but close to home, Rick Condit, Eric Sylvester, Bill Rose, Terrance J Mahady.
