Interests you ask?
Well............there are many. I am an ordained minister (you can call me Reverend Mother Yoda), Reiki Master Teacher, and 2nd Level Resonance Healer. Aromatherapy, herbs, nutrients, gemstones and most forms of alternative medicine interest me. I am studying to be a theta healing and hypnotherapy too.
But creating is my passion. I love to make things from anything. I work with copper and stained glass to make fun stuff for the home and garden as well as fancy decorative stuff too. The world is constantly providing me with new materials for art projects. I sew, knit, play guitar a little, and paint sometimes. You should come do your Christmas shopping at my house in Nov. We have a blast visiting and partying in the back yard during the show.
The people I would most like to meet are Oprah and Maya Angelou. Richard Brautigan might have been interesting to meet too but he is long since gone so I read his books instead. When it comes to learning, there are lots of people that I would like to study with...perhaps one of them is you?
Although it is hard to say what style I like best, I can say I have a limited appreciation for rap, hip-hop,Pop, heavy metal, country and opera. There are exceptions to most rules however and I do have an open mind or at least try to keep it open.
Punk Rock and Alternative Music stuff from the 80's is great sometimes, especially when I work at the computer. I also enjoy meditative, new age and world music.
Some of my favorites are Van Morrison, Patty Symth, Joe Jackson, Grateful Dead, Annie Lennox, The Smiths, Psychedelic Furs, Poi Dog Pondering, Blues Traveler, Bela Fleck, Alaman Bros., Santana, awh heck....I guess when I get down to it, I really like most music......you play it and I will listen...... at least till I can't take it anymore. It's a mood thing ya know.
I'm cheap when it come to spending $$ on movies. I'll wait till they are on TV.
I went to see "Water" last summer. Good flick! Classics are great too like Citizen Kane, Singing in the Rain, African Queen, Cleopatra, and Ben Hur. SciFI and fantasy films are awesome too. X-Men, Star Wars series, Lord of the Rings, Braveheart. Then there are the action flicks like James Bond and Die Hard.
Keifer Southerland's 24 is totally awesome. Being an info junkie, I like the History channel, Discovery, Nat. Geographic. etc. I am not much for sitcoms or the comedy channel and please don't give me the golf channel. I do keep up with the CBS Soaps but don't watch them daily. If I only had a brain that could concentrate, I would read all the time. I really love books but cant focus on the content is all.
The book on "Hippies" Christina got me for Christmas. Anything by: Richard Brautigan, Tom Robbins, Kurt Vonnegut, Doulas Adams. I have a large reference library of herbal and natural healing books, Reiki and energy healing books, art and craft books, cookbooks I seldom use.
My mom. She's not crazy like some moms are. She's the best!
