All for acid. Acid For all.

About Me

I'm a nerd...I like electronics, especially analog music machines, my german heritage, math and physics. Psychology, history, business, and economics also interest me.

Growing up in Wisconsin, I was introduced to "acid" techno via Drop Bass Network by producers like Hyperactive, ESP, and Frankie Bones to name a few. That was 1993, I was 12 years old. By my 15th birthday, I had flipped enough burgers and constructed enough sundaes to buy my own Technics 1200 turntables (which I still have). After DJing for a couple of years, I began to realize that drum machines, synths, production, and especially live PA was more where I wanted to go with the music. This way of thinking was only more solidified by eventually meeting up with Andrew "Gumby" Gundrum, the only other person I knew that too had the same interests with electronics and electronic music. By 1998, I had constucted a small arsenal of beatboxes and synths. The years rolled on, I collected more gear and met more people with similar interests namely, "Rusty Habitz", Brad aka "Curtis", and Richard Jantz aka "PoorBoyRich". In 2001, I met Ohio's Sherry aka "DJ Boompsie" at the last Drop Bass Even FURTHUR. By November of that year I had moved to Cleveland, Ohio. Looking back, Ohio's underground music scene would widen my perspectives and increase my musical influences. By January of 2003, Sherry had become my wife. Two years later I would met up with Nick "S" through long time friend "Andy James." In march of that same year, Nick and I would form "Project: x0x" a live act that utilized predominately the Roland "x0x" boxes we mutually cherish. We played many shows in Ohio and Pennsylvania. That same year on summer vacation back to visit my parents in Wisconsin, I would finally meet Larry aka "Computer Controlled." We didn't know it then, but "Acid Hazard" was born then at a jam session in a friends basement in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. 2006 rolled in (see my video) and Nick and I played what would become our last set together as "Project: x0x." (so far anyway) In the summer, after many personal economic difficulties and the loss of my wife's mother a few years prior, we decided to leave Cleveland and move to Wisconsin. "Acid Hazard" has now become my musical focal point, so watch out for performances, tracks, and the launching of our respective websites...acid.experimedia.net and www.midwestacid.com.
Oh yeah, my wife is pretty cool too, she produces also and is the best DJ out there...book her!
IF YOU ARE FEMALE and I don't know you personally, PLEASE MESSAGE ME BEFORE ADDING ME AS A FRIEND. I'M A MARRIED MAN.Project: x0x live NYE 05-06
