Welcome to the l'OST BERLIN webpage!!!We are an cultural association and we present movies (mostly shortmovies) and music from easteurope, berlin and france! The founding of the association was in october 2004 and we see ourself in tradition of the association l'OST Paris. They presentend movies and music at the same place during summer 2004. That's why we have the offical name ...weiter nach l'OST e.V.!Last two years we presented different theme months. They were orientate by easteuropean countries like romania, czech republic, bulgaria, ex-yugoslavia, poland, hungary, slovenia, estonia, russia and kirgistan. Also the west-, north and southeuropean countries were represented like france, scandinavia and spain. We show current and historical movies combined with different types of music. So we had a few evenings of noise experience, experimental fusions of rock and pop, different styles of hip hop, movies which were set to music and classical jazz evenings as well as modern evenings, where jazz and electronic elements sound together.
