Friends say I’m crazy, I wonder if I’m blonde?
I g-g-g-get so confused my t-t-t-tongue gets tied in knots.
Thank Tommy Bolin and Jeff Cook for those fine lyrics, that pretty much sums up my life so far.
I remember when I first heard him playing in the James Gang. I was still quite young (in my early teens) then. His music was and still is a big part of my life.
Well I guess to put it simply, I like good guitar music. I am a one-man street-teamer for artists that I feel need recognition. I don't often listen to commercial radio, since I don't like to be spoon fed something someone else thinks is good. I prefer to find great musicians for myself. Now I'm not saying that the artists on commercial radio are bad, years ago you could find a station that played killer stuff. Presently you would be hard pressed to find such an asset. Alas, luckily we have the internet. There are web radio stations where the DJ's bust their @sses to provide outlets for these undiscovered truly talented independant artists, and we also got some great producers who work hard to put these cds out.
One of my favorite things now is to tell people that they should check out the Buddaheads. Everytime without fail, I get a laugh. Then, when I crank out some of BB Chung King's tunes and I see the light above their heads illuminate, makes it all good.
Besides promoting musicians, I also like to promote craft brewers. If you look amonst my friends, you will find alot of the artists and brewers I'm teaming for. If you get a chance, give them a listen, or stop in and get a beer.
Keep on rockin!!
Remember to checkout Joe's stuff..
